Project Two – Library Design

Based on the book Hansel and Gretel this fit out was designed for the Old Museum building situated in Mt Cook Wellington. Which is currently serving as Massey University. This Library design was to portray the idea of confusion within this building the idea was to have these ramps intertwining with each other that are transparent so other people could be viewed throughout the whole building. Bookshelves follow the ramps throughout the building.
Ramps are made from steel trusses covered in Transparent acrylic and illumined with LED spot lights.
